Assistant, Creative Services
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for producing, integrating and presenting live and in-programme Graphics for live sport broadcasts.
• Assist in administrating and operating the broadcast graphics system during studio and outside productions.
• Work with the Content Creation teams to identify and create graphics required for shows
• Assist Manager, Graphics Integration in administrating & updating the templates and databases of the in-house broadcast graphics system.
• Administrate, operate, & troubleshoot broadcast graphics system during studio and outside broadcast productions.
• Work with Content Creation team to identify and create graphics required for ESS productions while keeping to the creative vision of the Creative Director.
• Liaise with the Design Team on the design and implementation of Network and Programme branding using the in-house broadcast graphics system.
• Liaise with the Design Team on the development of virtual set in-programme graphics presentation, the emphasis is on advancing the level of sales integration and enhancements.
Requirements:
• Specific and intensive live television & post production training including familiarity with various CG systems e.g. Namadgi, Orad and Chyron; Photoshop, After-Effects, Illustrator, Digital Video, Film Production and Post Production Workflows.
• Minimum 2 years working in an Assistant position.
• Solid technical background in live television & post-production--minimum 2 years television experience.
• Knowledge of live television & post-production processes experience within a large Television Company / Broadcast Organisation
• High level expertise with Broadcast Graphics systems e.g. Namadgi, Orad, Chyron. Mid level expertise with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3DStudio Max and other post production software and hardware.
• Ability to handle "live" television production environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work with deadlines and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Tact and ability to work effectively with colleagues and outside vendors.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to balance priorities in a multi-task environment.
• Ability to effectively use a variety of standard office software applications (e.g., Word, Excel). Strong team orientation and ability to work interdependently.
• Persistence, initiative and follow-through when completing independent tasks.
