Harsha salutes Lankan bowling
Harsha Bhogle said Sri Lanka were the "rightful" winners of the Asia Cup as they had bowled themselves to victory.
"I think in the end given the fact that on a batting surface the bowlers won it, Sri Lanka deserved to be the winners of the Asia Cup," Bhogle told Mobile ESPN.
The Lankan bowlers, led by spinner Ajantha Mendis' six-wicket haul, helped their side dismiss India for 173 in the final at Karachi on Sunday to notch up a 100-run win.
Harsha also heaped praises on Sanath Jayasuriya.
"At 66 for four, it looked like a one-sided final, but Jayasuriya - 39 going on 20 - changed everything with a magnificent innings. It was an innings of outstandinly controlled agression," he said.
Harsha said the 10th over of the Indian innings turned out to the decisive point of the match and since then India was "only fighting a losing battle".
