The soft-spoken Klinger and his men won hearts in the last edition of the Champions League Twenty20. Not many had given them a chance, but the Redbacks stunned everyone by storming to the semi-finals in South Africa in 2010.
Much of their success was attributed to Shaun Tait's blistering pace, the all-rounders' consistency and some very smart captaincy. Klinger likes to plan to the last detail. He may not be as gifted as Dhoni or Gambhir when it comes to leadership skills but he understands his men well and assigns them roles accordingly.
The semi-final exit in 2010 hurt Klinger and rest assured, the former Victorian will come out all guns blazing with his Redbacks.
