The Western Australian Warriors have named their 15-man squad for the Champions League Twenty20 in India.

The Warriors' team will be headed by promising young batsman Shaun Marsh who was the leading run scorer in the Indian Premier League earlier this year.

Marsh, who is currently with the Australia team on their tour of India, is one of five players in the Warriors team to have represented his country along with Adam Voges, Luke Pomersbach, Luke Ronchi and Brett Dorey.

Marcus North will captain the side while Voges will be his deputy.

"Many of the players we have selected have experienced playing in India - whether that be on national duty, in the Indian Premier League, or on our pre-season tours," Warriors coach Tom Moody said.

"It is going to be a tremendous opportunity for all of the players and management, and everyone involved is very excited about representing Western Australia on a global stage."

Western Australia, who lost to Victoria in the final of last season's Australia domestic Twenty20 tournament, will begin their campaign against Pakistan side Sialkot Stallions in Bangalore on December 4.

Western Australia squad: Marcus North (captain), Adam Voges (vice captain), David Bandy, Arron Crawford, Liam Davis, Brett Dorey, Theo Doropoulos, Ben Edmondson, Aaron Heal, Matt Johnston, Trent Kelly, Steve Magoffin, Shaun Marsh, Luke Pomersbach, Luke Ronchi.
