Titans Harris out of CL T20

Titans spinner Paul Harris will miss December's Champions League Twenty20 after fracturing his left thumb.

The left-arm orthodox bowler suffered the injury whilst playing for South Africa in the on-going first Test against Bangladesh in Bloemfontein, and is now expected to be on the sidelines for between three and four weeks.

News of Harris' injury will come as a blow to the Titans who have been drawn in Group A alongside Chennai Super Kings, Victoria Bushrangers and Middlesex Crusaders ahead of the inaugural event in India.

According to a press release from Cricket South Africa, Harris has flown to Cape Town to be treated by a hand specialist. He is, however, expected to feature against Australia when the Proteas travel Down Under in mid-December.
