NSW planning to rope in Pollard
New South Wales Blues are planning to rope in Trinidad and Tobago all-rounder Kieron Poll for their domestic T20 event Big Bash.

Confirming the move, Cricket NSW Chief Executive Dave Gilbert said they would approach the 22-year-old Trinidad & Tobago player, who blasted an 18-ball 54 against them in a group match of the Champions League Twenty20 in India.
"Well we've had some good chats with him, and he's keen.
I'm sure there's a lot of other states who'll want him as well. We'll see what happens, but fingers crossed," Gilbert was quoted as saying by 'Sydney Morning Herald'.

Pollard scored 25, which included three huge sixes, in the CL T20 final which NSW won.
NSW skipper Simon Katich was also hopeful about signing Pollard next year.
"I think, the contract was on the table about 10 minutes after that innings (against NSW) finished and he won the game for them. Hopefully we might have him in our ranks come January next year," Katich said.
