Sreesanth: Silence will do it for me

Sreesanth: Silence will do it for me

Indian pacer S. Sreesanth tells Sports Center India's Dinesh Chopra that he has decided to keep shut and let words work for him.

Sreesanth known for his aggression and on-field chatter said: "I have developed the habit of remaining silent, as instead of saying something, I want to let words work for me."

"The struggles in life better the attempts. That has given me the never give up attitude."

In fact, every aspect about the chirpy seamer says something about him. Take a look at his three ring tones for example.

One ring tone blares the title song of 'Rocky Balboa-4': "So many times happened so far, you have got the passion to glorify it."

"That means you have got to hang in there and fight it out, explains the fast bowler.

Another ring tone suggests a popular Hindi song: "Ae zindagi gale laga le ,humne bhi tere har ek gam ko mann se lagaya hai, hai na." (Oh life! Embrace me. I have embraced your sorrow, isn't it?)

Sreesanth says this gives him the courage to fight off his bad times.

The third rin gtone is like: "Yeh desh hai mera, swadesh hai mera, mujhe pukare" (This land is mine and she is calling me)

"It has motivated me to play on for India, and the fact that I have to go back and play for my country," clarifies Sree.

And what does Sreesanth keep talking to himself on the field? "Kyun dare zindagi mein kya hoga, kuchh na hoga to tazurba hoga"

"Irrespective of whatever I have achieved in my life, I will get some valuable experience from what I do."

Do not be taken aback by wise words from a cricketer who has been in the middle of controversies. They are the marks of changed man.

"In the last six months, I have learnt a lot. I am 25 years old now but I have been away from my family since I was six."

"But now I have spent some good time with my family, being away from cricket, so that period has meant a lot to me."

Sreesanth said the last three years have changed a lot for him.

"There was a time when some people said "You can comeback". At the same time other people said 'Kuchh nahin hoga, you are over."

"But I made sure that nothing affects my mind and I started saying no when I wanted to say no."

Keep your fingers crossed. Sreesanth might soon be seen bursting in with his seamers on the field.
