Sehwag: Form is not a worry
Virender Sehwag, in an exclusive chat with espnstar.com said he is not worried about his form ahead of the ICC World T20.

Sehwag, who led the Delhi Daredevils to their second consecutive semi-final berth in the Indian Premier League in South Africa did not fire with the bat as was expected of him. In fact, the exlposive opener also had to sit out a few matches due to an injury he sustained.
No less a worry was his Daredevil and India opening partner Gautam Gambhir, who too struggled in South Africa.
However, with Team India now firmly settled in England and raring to go for their title defence, Sehwag said he was not worried by his own form or that of Gambhir's.
"I am not at all worried about our form. In the last couple of matches we scored well.
"It was definitely not fatigue. I am pretty happy about the fact that we are back in form and now feeling more confident after the IPL."
Sehwag ruled out having to go through too many adjustments in England after spending more than a month playing in tiring South African pitches, where the ball gripped and turned.
"I don't think there is any need to change anything.
"We have played in almost every country where cricket is being played. I have played so many times in England and South Africa that I have become used to playing over there.
"So it is not going to make any difference to me."
Sehwag, the only man besides Don Bradman and Brian Lara to rattle up two triple hundreds in Test cricket, said it was an honour leading a star-studded bunch like the Delhi Daredevils.
A cakewalk, really
"The players made my job easier. The team is full of professionals who are extremely passionate about not just the game but about winning the matches."
Sehwag, however, refused to believe that captaincy had affected his game, with the added pressure.
"I led the Daredevils team last year also and I performed well at that time. Captaincy has never affected my game."
The fastest Indian ODI centurion opined foreign players played a crucial role in the second edition of the IPL and that was exhibited brilliantly by Deccan Chargers skipper Adam Gilchrist in the semi-final against the Daredevils.
"Gilchrist batted extremely well. However, it was unfortunate that we couldn't win the semi finals."
"It was certainly not our day. It was Deccan Chargers day but I am not disappointed, as we won 10 out of 15 matches, which was not bad."
As the experts say, the Nawab of Najafgarh is always one knock away from hitting form. All of India will be waiting, on the edge of their seats like all these years when Sehwag strode out to take stride.
