Q. The last time you were in India, you came as a Test player for Australia. How do you think the conditions will impact on the Bushrangers during the Champions League?

A. The conditions will be good for us I think. Those are pretty flat wickets and are not too different to what we're used to in Twenty20 cricket. Obviously the heat and humidity will be a factor, but we've had a pretty hard pre-season, so that should hold us in good stead.

Q. Do you enjoy playing cricket in India?

A. I've always enjoyed playing in India. I really enjoy the place and the culture and it will be a good experience for some of the guys in the team who haven't been in India before.

Q. Victoria Bushrangers have been the best team in Australian Twenty20 cricket. How do you think the team will handle itself on the world stage during the Champions League?

A. I think if we get the strongest team possible we've got a good chance. The three Indian teams will be tough to beat and if New South Wales can get all their international players they'll be one of the standouts. The South African team with Graeme Smith looks strong as well, so there are lot of good teams. Hopefully we can perform well and give it a good shake.

Q. The tournament is now very close - how much of a focus has it been for the squad throughout the pre-season?

A. Our pre-season has been based around getting us ready for the whole season, but in the last few weeks we've started to focus on specific things for Twenty20 cricket to try and get us ready for the tournament.

Q. How will playing for Australia in the T20s and ODIs against England help you in the lead up to the CLT20?

A. Playing for Australia against world-class players can only help your preparation for a tournament like this. So hopefully, I can play well and be ready to go in October.
