Q. Australian team is going through a transition period at the moment. According to you how much time the team needs to get back to the real Australian self?

A. I don't think it will take long at all. If you look at the recent tour of England, we won over there but it was tough over there because it was played in their conditions. We've got lots of good young players coming through so I don't think it will be long before you see Australia winning Test series again.

Q. Since you have played for Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2009, you know the players' strengths and weaknesses. Do you think it will be an advantage for you and your team -- Victorian Bushrangers during the Champions League?

A. It's definitely an advantage getting to see them play first-hand, but I don't think too much slips under the radar these days. Our bowling coach David Saker will be coaching the Daredevils, so that will be an advantage for them, but we'll definitely be prepared to take them on in the first game.

Q. How much do you think the Champions League will personally help you as a cricketer?

A. It's a great opportunity for domestic cricket to be on a world stage, which can only be a good thing for all the teams and all the players. I think it's a great concept so hopefully it's a great success.

Q. Who has been your idol?

A. I loved watching David Boon when I was younger and more recently it's been Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath and Mark Waugh.

Q. What goals have you set for yourself?

A. I don't set myself any goals, I just want to go out and play good cricket, whatever will be, will be.
