Q: The Airtel Champions League is just two days away. How well prepared are Deccan Chargers?
A: It is a very important tournament for all of us. The expectations are very high now. We have to perform well again to win this inaugural tournament. The team is in positive frame of mind and hopefully we will come out with flying colours again.
Q: Having put up a fine show in South Africa, mainly with the ball in Chargers' IPL triumph, are you looking for a repeat of that?
A: Why not! It was a bit of surprise there. But I have always told people that I can really bowl well. I got the chance and showed my abilities. I hope I will get more such opportunities in the future as well.

Q: What were the reasons behind Mumbai's poor show in the Irani Trophy at Nagpur?
A: We were all disappointed with our show. We could not play to our potential. Intermittent rains were also a disturbance, but weather is not in our hands and we can't blame it. I am sure we will come together and put up a better show as the season progresses and rectify our mistakes.
Have you selected your Super Selector team?
Q: Will there be any pressure on Mumbai as they are starting the season as defending champions?
A: There will be slight pressure. But you have to play your normal cricket. All the players are working hard to perform and I am also looking forward to the season.
Q: How eager are you to stage an early comeback into the Indian team?
A: It is very important for me to get back into the side. I hope I will give good performances and make an immediate comeback.
