
MSD ruled out of IPL for 10 days
Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been ruled out of the IPL for ten days due to an elbow injury.
He sustained injury during Tuesday's match against Kolkata after he was hit by a Shane Bond delivery.
A Chennai team source said doctors at a private hospital were examining the nature of injury.
Dhoni scored a 33-ball 66 to help his side get to a total of 164/3. In reply, Kolkata could score 109.
He got the Man of the Match award for this knock. Later, he also took a stunning catch to dismiss Owais Shah off the bowling of Laxmipathy Balaji.
In his absence, Suresh Raina will captain the Chennai side.
The Chennai team will face Delhi on March 19. Dhoni will accompany the team to Delhi.
Dhoni will miss the matches against Delhi, Mohali, Bangalore and Mumbai.
