- India have now lost three matches out of the last four Twenty20 Internationals they have played - one against Australia at Melbourne on February 1, 2008 and two against New Zealand in the just concluded series.

- India have lost all their three games to New Zealand.

- For the first time, India have lost two successive games - both to New Zealand - by seven wickets at Christchurch on 25.2.2009 and by five wickets at Wellington on 27.2.2009.

- India (149 for six) posted their lowest total against New Zealand in Twenty20 International. Their previous lowest against New Zealand was 162 for eight at Christchurch on 25.2.2009.

- Daniel Vettori, with Yusuf Pathan's wicket, is the leading wicket-taker - 21 at 14.28 runs apiece in 14 games, bettering Pakistan's Umar Gul's tally of 20 at 12.20 runs apiece in 13 matches.

- Yusuf got his first duck in Twenty20 Internationals.

- Suresh Raina also registered his first duck.

- Yuvraj Singh (50 off 34 balls) posted his third fifty in Twenty20 Internationals - his first against New Zealand.

- Yuvraj has recorded all his three fifties on foreign soil - two at Durban and one at Wellington.

- Yuvraj, with four sixes in his fifty, has taken his tally of sixes to 21, overtaking New Zealand's Ross Taylor's tally of 19 and moving into the second place. Brendon McCullum tops the chart with 23 sixes.

- Jadeja registered his highest score in Twenty20 Internationals - 19 off 16 balls. His previous highest was five against Sri Lanka at Colombo, RPS on February 10, 2009.

- Iain O'Brien (2/30) produced his best bowling figures, bettering his 2 for 34 against Australia at Sydney on February 15, 2009.

- Jesse Ryder and Brendon McCullum put on 53 for the first wicket - New Zealand's best for the first wicket against India, surpassing the 11 between Lou Vincent and McCullum at Johannesburg on September 16, 2007.

- Brendon McCullum (69 not out) registered his career-best score in Twenty20 Internationals, eclipsing his 61 not out against Australia at Sydney on February 15, 2009.

- McCullum became the first batsman to register four fifties in a row - 59 vs. West Indies at Hamilton; 61 vs.Australia at Sydney; 56 not out vs. India at Christchurch and 69 not out vs. India at Wellington.

- McCullum, Matthew Hayden and Gautam Gambhir now share the record for most fifties (4) in Twenty20 Internationals.

- McCullum got his second MOM award - both in succession against India in the just concluded series.

- Irfan Pathan, with 15 wickets at 22.93 runs apiece in 13 games, is now the leading wicket-taker for India, overtaking Rudra Pratap Singh's tally of 13 (ave.14.69) in eight games.
