- Hussey's 64 off 87 balls is his second fifty in the ICC Champions Trophy - his highest being 67 against India at Centurion on September 28,2009.
- Ricky Ponting's aggregate of 176 (ave.58.66) in three innings is the best for Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009-10.
- Ponting's overall aggregate (481) in the ICC Champions Trophy is the second best for Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy, next only to Damien Martyn (492).
- Mitchell Johnson has completed his 100 wickets in ODIs at an average of 25.22 in 65 matches.
- Brett Lee holds an Australian record for taking least number of matches (55) to reach a tally of 100 wickets. Dennis Lillee, Shane Warne and Nathan Bracken had taken 60 matches each for their 100 wickets. Damien Fleming took 65 matches for this milestone.

- Kamran's 44 off 63 balls is his highest score in the ICC Champions Trophy, surpassing the 20 against Sri Lanka at Jaipur on October 17, 2006.
- Misbah-ul-Haq's 41 is his second highest score in the ICC Champions Trophy, next only to the 47 against Sri Lanka at Colombo RPS on September 12, 2002.
- Misbah's dismissal as hit-wicket is only the second in the ICC Champions Trophy. Tatenda Taibu (Zim.) was the first to be dismissed in this fashion - against England at Edgbaston on September 10, 2004.
- Hussey's first MOM award against Pakistan is his seventh in ODIs.
