- Kolkata have equalled their biggest victory in terms of wickets in the Indian T20 Series. They had defeated Chennai by seven wickets at Centurion on May 18, 2009.

- Kolkata have recorded their third win over Bangalore in five Indian Premier League games, enjoying success % of 60.00.

- Angelo Mathews (4/19) has become the first bowler to claim four wickets in an innings in the third edition of the Indian T20 Series.

- Apart from Mathews, no other bowler has captured even three wickets in the first four games of the third edition.

- Mathews has recorded his best bowling figures in Twenty20.

- Tiwary and Hodge were associated in an opening stand of 101 - Kolkata's best ever for the first wicket in the Indian T20 Series, obliterating the 61 between Sourav Ganguly and Brendon McCullum against Bangalore at Bangalore on April 18, 2008.

- Hodge has achieved a rare feat in Twenty20. He is the first player to post 20 innings of 50-plus in Twenty20 - 19 fifties + 1 century.

- Hodge's runs' tally of 2610 (ave.38.38) in 82 matches is the best in Twenty20.

- Both the openers - Hodge and Tiwary - have made exactly 50 in the same innings in the Indian T20 Series. The instance is the seventh when both the openers have recorded fifties in the Indian T20 Series.

- Tiwary has received his first MoM award in the Indian T20 Series.
