Floyd Reifer blames it on toss
West Indian captain Floyd Reifer said losing the toss in the crucial encounter against India cost them the match.
"We have seen on these tracks of Wanderers that if you lose toss and bat first, you are four or five wickets down by the 20th over," said Reifer whose side were four for 31 in no time after they had been invited to bat first.
Although West Indies completed a hat-trick of losses in the Champions Trophy with a seven-wicket defeat against India, Reifer took a lot of positives out of the tournament for his side who competed well against Pakistan and Australia.

"We have bowled well and with a little bit of luck and better batting, could have beaten Australia," Reifer said.

"Roach has bowled the fastest in this tournament and he regularly clocked upwards of 90mph. He surely is one of the fastest in business."
There is a possibility that West Indies Cricket Board could bring back the original team in near future but Reifer said it was for his board to decide.
