Injury list underlines achievement
Lining up in the final against Australia has been made even more sweeter for New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori.
The Black Caps take on their trans-Tasman rivals at Centurion on Monday without the likes of Jacob Oram, Jesse Ryder and Daryl Tuffey, all of whom have picked up knocks along the way and replaced during the road to the final.
Their absence, however, has not been missed with the trio that have filled in - James Franklin, Iain O'Brien and Aaron Redmond - all blending nicely into the squad.
The New Zealanders, who have been underdogs in every match since the competition began almost two weeks ago, are now just one more upset away from the title following wins against Sri Lanka, England and Pakistan in Saturday's semi-final.

And their admirable run has left Vettori in buoyant mood.
"Yeah, I think so," the skipper responded when asked if their run to the final was made sweeter by their injury list. "If you look at the players we've missed out - Ryder, Oram and Tuffey and almost (Grant) Elliott.
"They were all pretty important players to us in the past and particularly Ryder and Tuffey. They had pretty good games that helped us win against Sri Lanka.
"So to lose them has been tough, but as I said before it's the guys that have come in and the guys who were already in the team have stepped up and it's made the loss of those players easier to handle.
"It's amazing that there's still a sense within the team that we can think we can win, even with the loss of those guys."
But Vettori knows they face a daunting task against the Australians.
He continued: "They are a pretty impressive side and that's the reason why they've sort of hovered around that number one ranking for a long time. Their form has been very impressive."
