Reports of rift in Pakistan camp
Reports have claimed that Pakistan skipper Younis Khan and coach Intikhab Alam are not seeing eye to eye.
The defeat to England means Pakistan has to beat The Netherlands by at least 25 runs to qualify for the Super Eight stage of the event in England.
Adding Pakistan's woes are increasing signs of problems within the team. The 'News' reported that Younis and Intikhab were at loggerheads over issues related to team composition.
The report said both had given different statements on team composition and strategy at least twice during the event.
Sources in the team confirmed to PTI that Younis was unhappy with Intikhab's "outdated" style of coaching.
"There are problems in the side because Younis does not see eye to eye with either Intikhab or assistant coach Aaqib Javed who played an instrumental role in the ouster of Shoaib Malik as captain in February," one source said.
The source said Younis and Intikhab hardly speak to each other.
