Pakistan captain Younis Khan has advised his Indian counterpart M S Dhoni to keep his cool and concentrate on the game.

Younis advised him following his recent run-ins with the media at the Twenty20 World Cup.

"Keep your cool, man," was Younis' message when asked to comment on Dhoni's tussle with the media.

Dhoni was upset with the media after it reported a rift between the skipper and his deputy Virender Sehwag.

The situation worsened after Dhoni refused to answer media questions on Sehwag's shoulder injury and his being ruled out of the tournament.

Though the distraction has not affected India's performance at the group league stage, Dhoni and company needs to maintain their cool on the West Indies in the Super Eights.

"I personally believe that nobody comes after you if you are playing well," Younis said on Thursday at a press conference on the eve of his team's Super Eight opener against Sri Lanka at Lord's.

"You should focus on your game and your team and forget about everything else," the Pakistan captain said.
