Opening batsman Jesse Ryder will return to international cricket for the first time in seven months after being included in the New Zealand team for the ICC World T20.

Ryder missed most of the domestic season after he got injured while playing in the Champions Trophy in September last year.

Daryl Tuffey and Neil Broom were not considered for selection while Rob Nicol is the only new player in the 15-man New Zealand squad for the T20 World Cup.
