Sreesanth raring to go against Jharkhand

Speedstar S Sreesanth, who will be playing for Kerala against Jharkhand, said he was raring to go against the opponent.

Sreesanth, who was out of Indian team due to back injury he suffered earlier, will be playing his first Ranji match for Kerala after he was declared fit five days ago.

"I am absolutely 100 per cent fit and raring to go," Sreesanth, who reached here this afternoon, told PTI.

"I am feeling great and looking forward to the match ahead," Sreesanth said while expressing confidence that he will play good cricket against the host.

Asked about his come back to the Indian team, Sreesanth said there are certain things which are not in his control.

"I am consolidating on fitness and matches ahead," Sreesanth, who played last Test match against South Africa in Nagpur, said.

In his message to the budding cricketers, Sreesanth said one should not give up and work hard to achieve the goal.

Meanwhile, the East Singhbhum district administration has beefed up security for Sreesanth.
