Amnesty to ICL players and officials

Players, and support staff have severed their relations with the ICL and have applied to the BCCI for amnesty.

The list inlcudes 79 current players, 11 former Test Cricketers and 11 Support Staff and officials.

Former cricketers like Sandeep Patil, EAS Prasanna, Madan Lal, Rajesh Kamath, Karsan Ghavri, Pranob Roy, Ashok Malhotra, Rajesh Chauhan, Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Bharat Reddy, Atul Wassan and Ajit Wadekar have also applied.

The current players, who have requested for the amnesty scheme to return to mainstream Indian cricket offered by the BCCI include the promising Abhishek Jhoonjhunwala and S Satish

The BCCI after scrutinising their requests has written to the concerned state associations that these players are eligible to play in the domestic tournaments for this year.

No word is out yet on the players' participation in the lucrative Indian Premier League.
