- Broke Adam Gilchrist's record of 172 for the highest score made by a wicketkeeper.

- Became the second-highest run-getter through boundaries after Herchelle Gibbs of South Africa.

- At 52.76 he has the fourth highest average in the world overall.

- Highest strike rate among the top five-averaged players - sixth highest strike rate at 103.00, the highest by an Indian.
