Bhajji raring to play again

Disappointed after watching India's loss in the Kitply Cup finals, ace offie Harbhajan wants to be back in the squad.

"Of course I wanted to be there. I wish I was there. Every cricketer wants to play as many games as possible but things that cannot happen do not happen," Harbhajan said in a television interview.

"I had to watch it on TV. It would be nice to be playing and contributing to my team's success but..," he added with almost a gulp of despair.

Harbhajan also said that he never wants to get involved in trouble but sometimes his passion to play well for the country and the desire to win lands him in trouble.

"I never plan to get into trouble. It's just that I'm very passionate about my game and I just love playing for my country," the turbunator said.

"I want to be there for the team, I want to be there for the nation when it's required and then when you get so involved sometimes before you realise it, you do something which gets you into trouble," he added.

The short tempered offie, who was banned after the infamous 'slapgate' incident involving S Sreesanth, said he has learnt a lot from the incident and will be calm and controlled in the future.

"I've learned a lot from whatever's happened and I can promise that I'll still play with a lot of passion," Harbhajan said.

"I have learnt my lesson that you have to be calm, very calm and you have to control. You don't have to show your anger, frustration. You just have to be calm and take things very, very calmly," Bhajji added.
