RP sees road ahead to Indian team
RP Singh said his performance in the IPL match will boost his chances of bouncing back into the Indian team.
"Definitely, it will boost my confidence. I am fit and hope to bounce back into the (Indian) team, let's see," he said after his four for 22 effort which set up Deccan Chargers' eight wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders here.RP Singh was happy that he got the swing and bounce from the Newlands pitch.
"The wicket has something for the bowlers. I got the swing and bounce. It is better than the pitches in India I am happy," he added.
The Uttar Pradesh pacer, who won the man of the match award for his 4/22, was all praise for West Indian teammate Fidel Edwards who bowled real quick and with accuracy to concede just six runs from four overs though without success.
"Fidel was amazing. He bowled real quick and accurate he set up the tone for us," RP added.
