Talk about IPL and one can't ignore Yusuf Pathan, who is a "sizzler with bat" and "match winner in pressure situation".

A right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, he made his debut last year in Twenty20 cricket and even travelled to England for county cricket in 2000.

After performing well in domestic cricket he was selected by Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier league for USD 475,000. His performance during the first edition of IPL was spectacular, where he scored 435 runs and took eight wickets. He also had the fastest half century in IPL 2008 against Deccan Chargers and was awarded the man of the match in the final.

Yusuf is doing it this time again in the second edition of IPL. In his last match against Delhi Daredevils he emerged as the "crises management specialist" and joined Graeme smith to give a jolt to Delhi Team. He scored 62 runs over 30 balls.

Atul Bedade, a former cricket, told SportsCenter, "David Logg of county cricket had earlier said that this boy has got guts and this boy has got the future. That time we used to laugh."

Mendhi Sheikh added, "We used to say that if this boy gets a chance then our country will get a good all-rounder".
