"We did not build on good starts"
Hyderabad skipper Adam Gilchrist held his side's show towards the latter part of both innings responsible for the loss against Kolkata.
"I will say the back-end of both the innings was the turning point. We did not bowl well after a good start in bowling and did not bat well after having a good start.
"They bowled very well by changing the pace nicely," Gilchrist said.
"Last year they did not do it right from 50-50 situations but this time they hung in well," he said.
"We did not bowl well at death," he added.
Meanwhile, man of the match Angelo Mathews of Kolkata said, "We decided to be positive. The wicket was not playing easy but we wanted to keep going till the end," he said of his splendid rearguard partnership of unconquered 130 with Shah. We are a fresh and good unit and we would do well."
