Decks cleared for IPL in Kolkata

The IPL authorities have agreed to abide by the instructions issued by civic departments to hold matches in Kolkata.

But the Kolkata team and the Cricket Association of Bengal will have to get no-objection certificates to conduct the matches.

The West Bengal chief secretary, Ashok Mohan Chakraborty said a meeting with stake holders took place in the state secretariat to hold all future matches in Kolkata.

However, there will be another review meeting on 30th March regarding the steps taken by the IPL authorities and the CAB.
