Gilly gives thumbs up to expansion
Hyderabad skipper Adam Gilchrist has welcomed the expansion of the Indian Premier League.
"It is good that IPL is expanding. Good substances will come up by this," Gilchrist said.
He, however, denied money factor was behind expansion of the IPL matches. He said passion for the game was the prime factor behind expansion.
Upbeat over successive wins at the Barabati stadium in Cuttack, Gilchrist said, "We won both the matches at the home venue. There was not much difficulty in making a successive win."
Delhi captain Dinesh Karthik, however, admitted to have succumbed to the pressure of T20 matches.
This was the third successive match that Delhi lost while their opponents Hyderabad won their third game back to back. "Hats off to Symonds," Karthik said in praise of the Aussie player.
