Akram returns to Lahore

Kolkata's bowling consultant and former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram returned home to Lahore to spend time with his sons.

Akram flew back to Pakistan on Monday after Sachin Tendulkar led Mumbai to a comprehensive seven wicket win against Kolkata.

"I have come back for them (my sons) because I miss them and they miss me and I wanted to be with them. Nothing is more important for me than my sons," he said.

The legendary fast bowler, though, is expected to join the Kolkata side before their next match against Mohali on Saturday.
