Shah Rukh won't watch Chennai match

Kolkata co-owner Shah Rukh Khan has said that he will not be present during his side's must-win IPL match against Chennai today.

"No, I won't come to Chennai for the match. Think the team needs to introspect and play without my interference ... emotional or physical," Shah Rukh said on his Twitter page.

He said only prayers will not help the team's cause as what matters is performance on the field.

"Someone said better way to pray at Kolkata matches will help...I don't think so ... I think better play at matches will help our cause," said Shah Rukh.

He earlier said he had to seek solace from his children and close friends after the team's loss to Bangalore in their last match.

Kolkata need to win all their three remaining matches to stay in contention for a semifinal berth.
