Daredevils to play in Dubai, UK

Delhi Daredevils skipper Virender Sehwag has disclosed plans of the outfit traveling to Dubai and England to play matches.

The plan comes close on the heels of Shane Warne's plans to take his IPL champion side, Rajasthan Royals, to his state Victoria, Australia, for friendly matches.

Sehwag told reporters at a promotional function in New Delhi that the "idea is in the initial stages, but we are planning to play some Twenty20 matches in Dubai and England."

"We had a very good bonding in our team. It was an honour leading greats like Glenn McGrath, Daniel Vettori and Shoaib Malik. It was good fun playing in the IPL. We had no pressure and we all gave our best. When you give your 100 per cent the result will take care of itself," Sehwag added.

However, the dashing opener, who scored 406 runs in the IPL, denied that the emergence of Twenty20 cricket will have any effect on the other two formats of the game.

"Over the course of 44 days we just played 14 matches, and that too for just three hours each. It cannot cause any concern to the Tsets and ODIs.

"On the other hand, it was an amazing experience to compete and share the same dressing room with some of the great players of the world," he said.
