Dammika: I have learnt a lot

Dammika Prasad said he has learnt a lot from his debut Test after yet another stellar performance in the third Test in Colombo.

Speaking to a TV channel after the third day's play, Prasad who batted intelligently in his first innings said: "I have done really well in this match. I have learnt a lot from this game. Hopefully, we win this one."

Prasad also said he always wanted to be an all rounder and he was happy with the runs he made down the order.

The stocky bowler also said he was trying to stick to a good line and length: "I planned to bowl one side of the wicket and it paid off."

Prasad was happy he got both the openers just when they were beginning to look dangerous.

"Both the openers were in great form and we had to get them early. And I was happy I got both of them."

Prasad reckoned a total of 150 to chase down in the fourth innings should not trouble his team much.
