Sachin ruled out of ODI's
Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the five match ODI series against Sri Lanka after he suffered an elbow injury on Saturday.
Tendulkar injured his elbow, trying to take a catch during the ongoing third Test against the Lankans in Colombo on Saturday.
He went out of the field immediately and came out to bat at number five. The Little Master has had a torrid time in the ongoing Test series and with the injury misses out on a chance to make amends in the ODI's.
S Badrinath will replace him in the 16-man squad.
The five-match ODI series begins from August 18.
This will be the third consecutive ODI series which Tendulkar will miss due to an injury after the Kitply Cup and the STAR Cricket Asia Cup.
