Raina: I am happy for the team

Suresh Raina, who was adjudged Man of the Match for his spectacular knock on Wednesday said he was happy for the team.

Speaking to a TV channel after the match, Raina said: "Winning the series in Sri Lanka was a great achievement and I am really happy for the team."

The young southpaw from Uttar Pradesh, who played alongside skipper MS Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL said it was great feeling batting with the dasher from Jharkhand.

"I enjoyed batting with Dhoni. We put on the runs and put Sri Lanka under pressure."

Raina also took two great catches later in the evening, one at slip to send back a rampaging Santath Jayasuriya and the second to trigger celebrations in the Indian camp when Thilan Thusahra held out to him in the deep.

"I wanted the catches to come to me. I enjoy fielding."

Raina has had a wondwerful year so far, starting from some brilliant form in the STAR Cricket Asia Cup in Pakistan.
