- Patel is the fourth bowler to bag five wickets in an innings at The Oval, joining England's Ronnie Irani (5/26 against India on 9.7.2002) and Mike Hendrick (5/31 against Australia on 20.8.1980) and New Zealand's Jacob Oram (5/36 against USA on Sept.10, 2004).
