Nielsen, said the former Indian coach would have been around with the team in any case as he was the head of Cricket Australia's Centre of Excellence.
"I was Greg's assistant in South Australia and now it is brilliant to have him around. More so, his experience as the India coach would be of immense help to us."
Meanwhile, Australian vice captain Michael Clarke, who made Test his debut in India four years back, is looking forward to rework the magic both with the bat and ball.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Clarke said he was looking forward to churn out his part-time left-arm spins depending on the sort of wickets expected for the four-Test series.
The elegant middle order batsman, had on Australia's last tour of India, almost spun his team to an improbabale victory as he grabbed six wickets on a Brabourne turner.
Australia face the BCCI President's XI in Hyderabad's Uppal Stadium from October 2 in their only official three-day tour game ahead of the first Test in Bangalore from October 9.
