Major fitness worries for Aussies

Australia were dealt major blows on Wednesday with Bryce McGian down with a sore shoulder and Shane Watson down with fever.

Legspinner McGain injured his shoulder while on tour with Australia A to India in September. He will not play in the practice game against BCCI President's XI and has also been ruled out of the first Test in Bangalore from October 9.

A final call on him would be taken in 24 hours.

All-rounder Shane Watson is down with fever and he will be subject to a fitness test on Thursday, before the warm up game against the Yuvraj Singh led side begins.

Meanwhile India pacer S. Sreesanth has been ruled out of the BCCI President's XI due to lack of match fitness. This was confirmed by coach Praveen Amre to reporters in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
