Pak to question CA action

Pakistan are set to question CA’s touring policy at next month's ICC meeting, according to sports minister Najamuddin Khan.

CA pulled the plug on their scheduled tour of the strife-torn country earlier this year after an internal review of the security situation in Pakistan warned them against making the trip to the sub-continent.

Australia have not toured Pakistan for 10 years and Khan has accused CA of employing "double standards" after they opted to tour India this month, despite a series of bomb blasts in New Delhi, where the third Test is scheduled to be played.

Khan will attend the ICC meeting as a representative of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), who are still without a chairman since Nasim Ashraf stepped down in August, and he is keen to find a resolution to a matter.

"Australia can play in India although even there, unfortunately, there have been bomb blasts but they're refusing to tour Pakistan," Khan told Geo News channel.

"I will raise this issue with the ICC and talk to the Australians also.

"I think they are adopting double standards and following different policies for Pakistan and India which is unfair to our cricket."

Pakistan have not played a home Test series since South Africa won a two-Test series in October last year.
