Yuvi: Hard work paying off
Yuvraj Singh, who scored yet another ton against England said he was happy that all his hard work was paying off at last.
The Punjab southpaw blasted 118 and picked up four wickets in Indore to follow his unbeaten 138 in Rajkot on Friday."I have been training hard. I was not lucky enough in Sri Lanka and I thought about the kind of shots I should not be playing at the start of my innings."
"I needed to control a few things in the initial stages and I have been doing that over the last two matches."
He said he had a talk with Gautam Gambhir in the middle after he walked out to bat when India were tottering at 29 for three.
"Gauti and I assessed the wicket and talked of building a partnership. We were constantly talking to each other."
Yuvraj also had a special word for Yusuf Pathanw, who blazed away to his maiden fifty: "YUsuf played like MS Dhoni. I am happy for him."
Yuvraj had come under heavy criticism for his lack of form and his apparent lack of focus and discipline. He has replied the best way he could have.
