Former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu says if given a chance Yuvraj Singh will prove himself in Test cricket.

Former Indian cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu expressed confidence in Yuvraj Singh's abilities.

Sidhu is of the view that it is not necessary for any cricketer to be best in all forms of the game.

The cricketer-turned politician said the present Indian outfit, under talismanic skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is by far the best team.

He also praised Dhoni's leadership qualities and said the wicket-keeper batsman will take India on the top of international cricket.

Asked about the escalating tensions between between India and Pakistan after last week's Mumbai terror attacks, Siddhu, who is a member of Parliament from BJP, said sportsperson and artists can create a platform for brotherhood between different countries, religions and casts.
