The match referee in the Sydney Test marred by the race row, feels Bhajji must have regretted for what happened last January.

"I am happy it is all over. I think Harbhajan probably regrets what went on. We have all done things on the field that, upon viewing them at a later date, we are not proud of," said Procter, who has officiated in 47 Tests and 154 ODIs.

The former Match Referee, who stood down from the ICC panel in October last year to become his country's selection committee convenor, had handed Harbhajan a three-Test ban for his part in the race row.

The ban was later overturned on appeal by Justice John Hansen of New Zealand and Procter admitted that the Sydney fiasco was one of the reasons why he left the ICC job.

"(Match refereeing) is a tough job in many ways, and certainly [that Sydney Test] was one of the reasons why I left the job," he was quoted as saying by 'Sydney Morning Herald'.

However, Procter said he had moved on following that incident and holds no grudge against anyone.

"It was certainly a difficult period for everyone, but I have moved on and I certainly hold no grudges over the incident," he said.
