Australia’s 15-member probables for the ICC women’s World Cup has been announced by the WNSP on Wednesday.

The same squad will be retained for the Rose Bowl five-match ODI series against New Zealand to be played between Februray 1-12, prior to the World Cup followed by the one-off Twenty20 match.

Australian, who are the champion of the last World Cup held in 2005 are all set to be the hosts of the mega events this time to be scheduled to take place from March 7 to 22.

Australian team has included two new exciting players in the squad.

The players have been chosen on the basis of their interstate cricket competition performance this season and also their capabilities to show potential on the bigger stages.


World Cup probables: Karen Rolton (C), Alex Blackwell (VC), Sarah Andrews, Jessica Cameron, Leonie Colemon, Lauren Ebsary, Rene Farrell, Jodie Fields, Delissa Kimmince, Shelly Nitschke, Erin Osborne, Ellyse Perry, Leah Poulton, Emma Sampson, Lisa Sthalekar.
