Injured Pakistan umpire stable
Pakistani umpire Ahsan Raza, who was injured in terrorist attacks, is in stable condition after being operated upon.
Raza, who was the fourth umpire for the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, was in a van behind the Sri Lankan team's bus which was attacked by masked gunmen while on way to play the third day of the match this morning.
"He has been operated on and his condition is not life threatening. In fact, he is stable," Pakistan Cricket Board chief operating officer Salim Altaf said.
The attack injured seven Lankan cricketers, who were subsequently airlifted from the Gaddafi Stadium. The series was also called off immediately.
