West Indies captain Chris Gayle has teased England ahead of the final Test by suggesting they should change their strategy.

England fielded a four-man attack in the bore draw at Kensington Oval and will contemplate changes for the final match in Port of Spain.

"I don't know how many changes they will make but I think they need another bowler," Gayle said. "I don't want to give them any tips but maybe they should drop an extra batsman."

Bat dominated in the fourth Test with Ramnaresh Sarwan taking his tally to a whopping 598 runs in four innings, with a career-best 291.

The 260-run stand Sarwan shared with Denesh Ramdin effectively ended English hopes of a comeback series victory.

Under scrutiny

"Denesh Ramdin getting his first Test century was tremendous," said Gayle. "I hope this is the start of many to come for Ramdin.

"He has been under scrutiny, so it has been good to ease some pressure off his back, and he can carry on with confidence on his home ground in the next match."

The West Indians will find themselves in unfamiliar territory at Queen's Park when things get under way on Friday but Gayle has urged his team to play in their usual manner.

"Even though we are 1-0 up in the series, we will go out for the win, we will go out there to play positive cricket rather than be negative," he said. "Once you go in with that sort of mentality it can do more damage to you.

"We want to get runs on the board - we will settle for anything over 400 and I am sure that could put a guarantee on the game.

"We will have to look to bat well in our first innings and then we can dictate."

Fast bowler Jerome Taylor is carrying an ankle niggle but West Indies insist he will be fit to feature after strapping the joint as a precautionary measure.
