She wanted to be in Pakistan during team's "tough time" yesterday.
"I wanted to be with my husband during this tough time on Tuesday", she said over telephone from Colombo. "It would have given a morale support to Murali and the entire team".
Being a sensitive country, no wives or girl-friends were traveling with the team on this tour. "I don't know about the sensitivity of the country (Pakistan) but had we been allowed to travel with the team, I would have gone to Pakistan. Yes there were chaos to-day in Pakistan but the panicking was not less here (Colombo) either", she further added.
The players' wives were exchanging news among themselves to get the update information on post-terror attacks . "We all (wives) decided to go to the airport to receive our better halves", she further added.
"Murali's only son Naren, when not on tour with his dad, misses him for two days but settles thereafter soon". Madhi's mother (Dr. Nitya, Shanmugam) was arriving in Sri Lanka to-day to enquire about her son-in-law's health.
