PCB Chief dismisses all allegations

Pakistan Cricket Board has dismissed all the allegations regarding the security lapse during the terror attack on Lankan team.

The PCB Chief Ijaz Butt on Thursday rubbished all allegations on security personnel leaving the scene of action.

"The allegations of the Sri Lankan players about lax security are not true. Security plan remained the same throughout. In fact, match referee Chris Broad account is fabricated," said Butt during a press conference.

Further reacting to Muttiah Muralitharan's statement that security was not appropriate, Butt asked, "How could one say that security personnel did not fire back and it was the bus driver who saved them? Even some security personnel have been injured and some have been killed?"

Muralitharan had earlier raised question marks on the security, saying, "How can you say that security was good when gunmen escaped? There is no repentance or guilt. If the security is good I would certainly go back to Pakistan."
