Pak's Bangla tour looks uncertain
Pakistan's tour to Bangladesh looks uncertain after the PCB informed that BCB had sought a week's time to obtain clearance.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ejaz Butt said that his Bangladesh counterpart had asked him to wait for a week to get a clear picture on the tour from the Bangladeshi government."Yesterday only I talked with a top official of the Bangladesh board and he had requested for a week's time to get a final clearance from their government," Butt said.
The tour was postponed last week, just two days after 12 gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.
Pakistan was due to leave for Bangladesh on March 7 to play five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches. But the BCB had postponed the tour on the eleventh hour on the advice of their government in the aftermath of a two-day mutiny, in which at least 80 people were killed, mostly army officers.
