Both of them are on four-member Executive Board (other two are Dean Jones and Tony Greig), who have not left the Indian Cricket League yet.
Most of their coaches, mentors, talent scouts and members of the support staff have rejoined the Indian cricket board.
"I don't want to discuss about ICL now and would reserve my comments for later," Kapil Dev said from New Delhi.
"Please ask the fate of the ICL to Himanshu Mody," Kiran More said from Vadodara.
However, despite repeated attempts, Himanshu Mody could not be contacted.
Meanwhile, Kapil Dev and More are losing a monthly pension of Rs. 35,000 from BCCI's pension scheme for the former Indian players.
Kiran More might have been approached by American Premier League (APL) for some coaching assignment. However, it was not clear whether he would accept that.
As a last resource, the ICL officials may still consider the legal option for not being recognised by the BCCI and ICC.
