Aif has been recommended to pay this fine for spoiling the image of the nation.
According to the Lahore-based sources, the three-member panel (Wasim Bari, Asif Suhail and Dr. Sohal Saleem) has sent a one page judgement to the PCB chairman Izaz Butt, who ultimately is likely to convey the news to the bowler.
The 27-year-old Asif was detained in Dubai for 19 days last year and was deported after diplomatic talks at the highest level. However, his entry to the UAE has been banned and he will not be able to play for his country in UAE.
"Asif has right to appeal against the tribunal decision", Wasi Bari said from Lahore.
His lawyer, Justice Qayyum is still undecided to guide his client on this issue. "Asif is yet to come with the verdict to us. We shall decide our next course of action in due course", Qayyum added.
Justice Qayyum, the former Attorney General of Pakistan and his son Ahmed Qayyum are handling case for Asif. It may be recalled that Mohammad Qayyum, the Lahore High Court judge then, investigated the match-fixing allegations on Pakistan players in 2000.
